Anna Simeone

I’m a freelance children’s illustrator based in Sopot, Poland. I have graduated in Literature in Gdańsk and spent 10 years in Italy before coming back to my hometown with my husband, daughter and dog, Leo.

I have illustrated children’s books for publishing companies from Poland, Italy, France and the UK. In my work I try to capture the joyful and heartfelt moments of everyday life. The vibrant colour palettes I curate for my illustrations are inspired by what surrounds me - seasonal vegetables and flowers, secondhand porcelain, my dog’s fur. I work both with traditional techniques - colored pencils and watercolors and with digital art softwares.
